While many of today’s security solutions have gone “high tech,” relatively simple hardware such as door closers are still a vital part of the equation. This versatile system relies on a patented mounting plate with 24 pre-drilled holes set in a variety of patterns to allow it to be used on at least 32 types of doors, regardless of whether they’re “right-handed” or “left-handed”—and without having to do extra drilling. Yet the 316R is still robust enough to meet important ANSI and UL standards, including critical requirements of the American Disabilities Act.
